Veterinary Nurses
The nurses at Maribyrnong Veterinary Clinic come from very diverse backgrounds, having gained qualifications such as Veterinary Nursing and Bachelor degrees at University. The nurses are instrumental in providing the highest quality veterinary care for your pets and work closely with the veterinarians to provide diagnostic care, hospitalisation treatment, as well as routine services such as vaccines.
Amanda Forder
Mandy’s lifelong love of animals led her to a career in Veterinary Nursing in 1998. After working in a large shelter and animal hospital for three years, she made the transition into private practice. She has a special interest in surgical nursing and enjoys being involved in puppy pre-school classes. Mandy is currently studying Cartificate IV in Behavioural Dog Training through the Delta Society. Her Doberman, Anubis, achieved the Delta Canine Good Citizen Award in 2009. Her husband (Craig) and their two children (Callum and Bronwyn), share Mandy’s love of animals. Their household menagerie also includes a her Doberman (Anubis), a Maltese Terrier X (Zajra), and two cats (Tabatha and Luna).

Lorena Sirol
Lorena completed a Bachelor of Arts (Computer Mediated Art) at Victoria University, but after beginning an Animal Tech Course she realised that Veterinary Nursing was the career path for her. At the clinic Lorena enjoys assisting in surgery, hydrobathing dogs, and chatting with clients and their furry friends. Lorena loves visiting the family dogs at her mum & dads, a Labdrador (Bella), and a Jack Russell (Jackie). When she's at home, she loves cuddling up to her cat, Champers, and having a well deserved 'cat nap'!

Jennifer Browne
Jenni has always had a love for animals as she was growing up. She has had pets her whole life, and currently homes a Sharpei (Bindi), a Whippet (Nala), and an adopted cat (Chloe). She completed a course in Animal Care in 2008, and is currently obtaining her Certicate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Jenni is a real advocate for obedience training, and loves taking her dogs to learn a few tricks or two!
At the clinic, Jenni's favorite things to do are assisting in surgery, and interacting with the all the pets & their owners.

Krystie Lovery
Krystie's passion for animals since childhood lead her to complete her Bachelor of Science with first class Honours at Monash University with Majors in Zoology and Biology. When she realised that the research field was not as "hands on" with animals as she always wanted, she moved into the field of Veterinary Nursing. She joined the Maribyrnong Vet Clinic team and enjoys looking after people's beloved pets, assisting in surgery, and running puppy pre-school classes weekly. At home she has a stunning Japanese Spitz named Akeida.
Krystie is currently on maternity leave with her gorgeous baby boy, Kyson Lucas.

Hannah Jewell
Hannah grew up on a hobby farm with a wide variety of animals. Her affiliation with animals led to a natural progression into Veterinary Nursing. She has completed Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and joined the Maribyrnong Vet Clinic shortly after it opened. Hannah is extremely knowledgable in many areas of animal care and enjoys interacting with and educating clients. Hannah has a particular interest in cat behaviour, care, and welfare including the rescue and rehoming of needy cats. She has two chocolate Burmese cats, Jasper and Akane.
Hannah is currently on maternity leave with her new baby girl, Alice.
